VANILLE NOIRE - YVES ROCHER
🖤 Vanille Noire – Yves Rocher 📆 Launch Year: 2010 💧 Concentration: Eau de Parfum 🌿 Olfactive Family: Oriental Vanilla 👃 Perfumer: Jacques Cavallier Belletrud 🧪 Symrise Formula (Toiletries & EDT version) – Internal PDF Archive
A hidden gem in the Secrets d’Essences collection, Vanille Noire is not your typical gourmand. It’s a textural vanilla, built on contrast — three types of vanilla (Bourbon, Tahiti, Ouganda) layered with mimosa, mandarin, cedar, and suede-like woods.
This version, developed by Symrise for eau de toilette and care applications, reveals a more transparent, musky-powdery interpretation of the original — ideal for layering, body products, and lighter formats.
🌿 The Accord Structure
- Top: Mandarin, aldehydes, anisic aldehyde — a soft citrus veil with floral lift
- Heart: Mimosa, heliotropin, lilial, hydroxycitronellal — powdery yellow florals with a creamy glow
- Base: Ethyl vanillin, coumarin, cashmeran, Iso E Super, Sandalore, Globalide — a musky-woody vanilla trail with soft suede edges
🧪 Formula Highlights (Symrise Toiletry Version)
- Hedione and Florosa for floral diffusion
- Ethyl Maltol, Heliotropin, Ethyl Vanillin for sweet warmth
- Iso E Super and Cashmeran for dry, radiant woodiness
- Sandalore + Sandanol for creamy sandalwood effect
- Globalide, Ambrettolide, Lilial, Hexyl Salicylate for musky softness
- Melonal, Aprifloren, Frambinone for fruity nuance
🎩 The Secret Signature
Originally composed by Jacques Cavallier at Firmenich, Vanille Noire was Yves Rocher’s fifth “Secret d’Essence”, following Voile d’Ambre, Rose Absolue, Iris Noir, and Tendre Jasmin.
This version, adapted by Symrise for lighter formats, retains the emotional DNA of the original: a vanilla that whispers, not shouts — elegant, musky, and quietly addictive.
✅ Includes full Symrise formula in PDF format (internal use) ✅ Ideal for perfumery study, toiletry adaptation, or scent layering projects ✅ Not commercially available — preserved via archive access
VANILLA. POWDER. PRESENCE. This is Vanille Noire — and she doesn’t sweeten. She seduces in silence. 🖤🧪📊🌼
