The Quiet Heat of Wood and Pepper
Poivre Samarcande is Ellena’s mirage of spice — a landscape of dry woods and black pepper dusted over sun-bleached cedar. It doesn’t burn; it glows, like embers smouldering in silence.
The structure is pared down to the bone: a vast dose of Iso E Super forms the transparent wood skeleton, through which Globanone and Guaiol Acetate breathe a smoky, resinous depth. Black Pepper Oil, Eugenol, and Cumin Oil add warmth and tension — the sensation of peppered skin rather than spice from a jar.
Hints of Patchouli DM, Vertofix, and Oakmoss Absolute root the perfume in the earth, while citrus and floral nuances from Lemon Oil and Linalyl Acetate lend Ellena’s signature lift and light.
✨ The Result
Minimal yet magnetic, Poivre Samarcande feels like a breeze moving through wood and ash.
A fragrance of restraint and quiet intensity — pepper reimagined as texture rather than heat, a meditation on spice and silence.
