A Breath of Ocean and Spice

Épice Marine is Ellena’s idea of a seascape caught in amber light — vetiver roots washed in saltwater, cumin seeds drying in the wind, a trace of rum and smoke lingering on skin. It’s a meeting between the Atlantic and a spice market, where marine freshness collides with the warmth of wood and sun-kissed spice.

The composition opens with a sparkling burst of Lemon Oil and Linalyl Acetate, fresh yet slightly aromatic, like citrus zest on wet driftwood. Beneath, Vetiver Haiti and Polysantol build a dry, elegant backbone — polished wood shaped by the sea. Subtle animalic notes of Cumin Oil, Coumarin, and Nerolidol give it depth and warmth, while Calone, Guaiacwood, and Olibanum trace the air with saline, resinous brightness.
