DIOR DIOR
Dior Dior (1976)
Launch Year: 1976
Concentration: EDP
Olfactive Family: Chypre
Subfamily: Chypre Floral
Perfumer: Edmond Roudnitska
Before “Jules”, there was Dior Dior.
A forgotten opus of the chypre floral genre, created by the master Edmond Roudnitska at the height of his creative powers. The formula sings with Hedione, oakmoss, bergamot, and a ghost of real jasmine wrapped in aldehydes and shadowy woods.
Like a sunlit salon at 5 p.m. in 1976, it’s both elegance and melancholy.
This is la beauté tragique bottled.
