Cèdre Sambac is Christine Nagel’s meditation on contrast — the sacred austerity of cedar against the sensual warmth of jasmine. It is both vertical and enveloping, sculpted like incense smoke rising through sunlight.

At its heart, a duet of Iso E Super and Vertofix creates a dry, resinous wood texture, textured yet translucent. Sandalore and Cashmeran soften the edges, lending the composition its creamy, skin-like warmth. Into this structure slips the radiance of Methyl Dihydrojasmonate, a molecule that transforms jasmine into something pure and airy, like a breeze through temple wood.

A subtle interplay of Guaiacwood, Patchouli, and Vetynal deepens the base, while Benzyl Acetate and Cis-3-Hexenyl Salicylate whisper of living petals — fleeting, green, almost transparent.
