The Clean That Isn’t Innocent
Blanche doesn’t smell like laundry —
it smells like the idea of clean.
Ben Gorham didn’t create a fragrance; he created a texture.
Methyl Dihydro Jasmonate and Galaxolide wrap the skin in a milky, opaque aura — a blur of white light. Like freshly washed cotton drying in cold air.
The aldehydes (C-12 MNA, C-11), sharp and bright, crackle like starch being ironed.
Florol, Helional, Cyclamen Aldehyde and Lyral Replacer sketch an abstract floral impression — not petals, but the water that once touched them.
Muscenone, Exaltolide and Cashmerane melt the structure into skin warmth:
pure, soft, tactile.
A whisper of Lemon Oil adds frost.
A trace of Vanillin and Heliotropin adds body — a pale ivory warmth under the linen whiteness.
✨ The Result
Blanche is the smell of immaculate intimacy.
Skin, cotton, light —
nothing to hide, and nothing to prove.
