Suede, Not Steel
Cuir Beluga is leather reimagined — not raw, not animalic, but soft, powdery, and luminous. Inspired by white suede and the elegance of Jean-Michel Frank’s minimalist interiors, it’s a tribute to restraint and refinement.
The opening is sheer and musky, with Hedione and Ambrettolide creating a clean, floral lift. Then comes the sweetness: Ethyl Vanillin, Vanillin Crystal, and Heliotropin form a creamy, almond-like accord that feels plush and comforting.
Patchouli and coumarin add subtle depth, but never overwhelm. The leather is abstract — more texture than tannin — and the drydown is a whisper of Muscenone and Ambroxan, smooth and skin-like.
This isn’t a statement piece. It’s a cashmere throw. A quiet luxury.
✅ Unique take on leather: soft, powdery, and non-animalic ✅ Comfort-driven composition: musks and vanillin for warmth ✅ Minimalist elegance: no clutter, just clarity ✅ GCMS fidelity: precise reconstruction of a cult formula ✅ Guerlain heritage: part of the iconic L’Art et la Matière line
For lovers of quiet sophistication, soft textures, and understated luxury. Ideal for those who want leather without the growl — just the glide.
