Opium in a Lavender Field. Liqueur, Light, and Leather.
A Taste of Heaven is By Kilian’s most paradoxical creation — both luminous and narcotic, clean and intoxicated.
A fougère, yes — but one drenched in absinthe and dripping in sin.
It opens with a high-voltage spike:
Lavender Grosso, Camphor, Eucalyptus, and Bergamot — a chapel’s cool breath.
But within seconds, the incense burns.
Vanillin and Ethyl Vanillin overdose in the drydown, textured by Tonalide, Tolu, Tonka, and Benzyl Benzoate.
This is not comfort — it’s spiritual overload.
Wrapped around this are shadows:
- Veramoss and Patchouli lend mossy green violence.
- Coumarin, Linalool, and Galaxolide create a clean-space illusion.
- Labdanum, Olibanum, and Polysantol add velvet darkness.
There is no innocence in this fougère.
Even the Cedarwood, Geranium, and Carrot Seed Oil whisper menace.
đź’š A Taste of Heaven is not really about lavender.
It’s about losing yourself — and liking it.
