🟢 Absinth – Nasomatto 📆 Launch Year: 2007 💧 Concentration: Extrait de Parfum 🌿 Olfactive Family: Woody Aromatic 👃 Perfumer: Alessandro Gualtieri 📂 GCMS Club Collection – Archives Gilbert Bendoni 📦 Number of Ingredients: 37

“A green hallucination in slow motion.” Absinth is one of Gualtieri’s most enigmatic compositions — a scent that doesn’t just reference the infamous liqueur, but channels its delirium. It’s not about anise or licorice. It’s about earth, bitterness, and the edge of euphoria.

This version, drawn from GCMS analysis, reveals a structure that’s both radically green and texturally woody — a perfume that smells like vetiver roots soaked in wormwood and shadowed by cashmeran fog.

🌿 The Vibe

  • Green and bitter: wormwood oil, galbanum, clary sage, juniper lactone
  • Woody and dry: patchouli, vetiver, guaiacwood, javanol, sandalwood base
  • Musky and diffusive: cashmeran, exaltone, galaxolide, musk T
  • Aromatic flickers: nutmeg, camphor, orange oil, anisaldehyde
  • Molecular glow: hedione, florol, floramat, ambrox super
  • Shadow sweetness: vanillin, maltol, coumarin, gamma hexalactone

🧠 The Signature

This is Gualtieri in full abstraction mode — a scent that doesn’t narrate, but hallucinates. It’s earthy, herbal, and strangely comforting, like rolling in sun-warmed soil after a storm.

There’s no top–heart–base in the traditional sense. Just a slow, green burn that moves from bitter to soft, from sharp to skin.

GREEN. EARTH. DELIRIUM. This is Absinth — and it doesn’t intoxicate. It possesses. 🧪🌿🖤
